Safe Electricity
Safety is the highest priority at any co-op. Communicators play an important role in keeping members safe. Safe Electricity will showcase its new website, new materials available to all Wisconsin electric cooperatives, and explain how co-op communications can really make a difference.

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat
With so many social media platforms and ways to use them, how can you figure out what’s best for your co-op? This presentation will highlight the ways co-ops use social media to fit their specific needs and goals, as well as cover methods for handling potential downsides, such as negative comments or bad reviews.
Cogan Schneier, social media editor, NRECA, Arlington, Va.
Awards and Acknowledgements
Communicators whose work was adjudged to have been the best in various categories of presenting local information in the Wisconsin Energy Cooperative News during the 2016-17 judging cycle will be presented with their certificates. We’ll also review some of the great ideas and quality work we saw in the local pages over the past year.
Mary Erickson, associate editor, Wisconsin Energy Cooperative News
