Planning and Mitigation Strategies for Violent Situations
1 Skill Builder Credit per co-op for first 3 attendees, then 1/3 credit per attendee thereafter

Threat Assessment and Environmental Design
Is your business “safety minded” when it comes to environmental design of office and workspace? Is there easy access to employees on the job and leaving the job? Do you have an “open access” environment?  Should you?

A threat assessment of the workplace is the start of safety planning for your business.

Escalation Indicators and De-escalation Strategies
Have clients and customers suddenly become irate, loud, and threatening? Do you know what to say or do? When is it too dangerous to keep talking and when do you leave the situation and call for help? Learn the indicators of escalating talk and strategies to diffuse verbal situations and when to identify those that need other attention.

Active Threat Training
Learn about active threat in the workplace and the techniques used to counter the threat. All employees can train on these techniques so in time of crisis they can respond with awareness and confidence.

***Attendance/space is limited to first 40 attendees.
