YEAR IN REVIEW

Marking its 80th anniversary of service last year, the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association (WECA) was incorporated April 30, 1936 as the nation’s first electric cooperative statewide organization. The WECA provides government relations, member education, and media services for its membership of one generation and transmission cooperative, 24 distribution co-ops, and their nearly 600,000 member-owners.



Associate Membership

Associate membership in the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association provides a continuing opportunity for providers of goods, services, materials, and equipment to build and maintain networking contacts with Wisconsin's electric co-ops and others with interests and needs related to all aspects of the electric power industry.
