EDUCATION
With more than 1,000 participants attending the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association’s education programs each year, it’s clear that our members place a high priority on employee, director, and youth education.
WECA offers a full suite of education programs including:
- Supervisor and Manager Development programs that are focused on strengthening leadership skills and knowledge needed to hire, develop, lead others, manage performance, communicate effectively, and make sound decisions.
- Credentialed Cooperative Director (CCD) and Board Leadership Certificate (BLC) series programs that provide electric cooperative board directors with a firm understanding of their fiduciary duties, focus on key issues and trends in the electric industry, and provide a solid base of knowledge to help directors fulfill their leadership responsibilities
- Youth Education programs that focus on our future leaders with a curriculum that is focused on leadership development, communication skills, cooperative business acumen and opportunities to perfect these talents as Wisconsin’s electric cooperative youth ambassadors.
