CFC Financial Forecast (Compass) Workshop

CFC Compass 4.5 is a 10-year financial forecasting software model designed to help rural electric distribution cooperatives analyze a variety of financial strategies.

The model, which is free to CFC owners, provides a tool for preparation of long-range financial forecasts accommodating various scenarios, incorporating CFC’s current loan and equity policies to aid in providing support for new loan applications, budgeting and strategic planning.

KEY FEATURES
  • Built within Microsoft Excel 2013 with VBA.
  • Preloaded with 10 years of historical data (Form 7, Plant, Power, Revenue, Expense, KRTA, and CFC, NCSC, and Farmer Mac loans)
  • Provides the ability to develop trending of historical and projected results.
  • Report based and graphical representations of historical and projected financials.
  • Loaded with analytical charts and graphs to customize reporting to the board.
  • Includes turn-key and exportable presentations of forecast results

NOTES:  Attendees will need to bring laptops with them so that they can actively participate in the program. WECA will set up extension cords and power strips to power your laptops throughout the day.
