Financial wellness is key to employee well-being and organizational success. Offering retirement planning and financial literacy shows commitment to both future security and present peace of mind. Confident employees are less stressed, more focused, and make better decisions—boosting productivity, engagement, and team resilience. Supporting financial health is a strategic investment that strengthens morale, retention, and long-term performance. When employees thrive financially, so does the cooperative.

The NRECA Retirement Planning Seminar is designed for employees and their spouses who are within 5–10 years of retirement. It helps employees evaluate distribution options from their retirement plans, estimate retirement income and expenses, and realize the need for continued investment during retirement years. Health and long-term care issues are also addressed.

We encourage employees and their spouses who are within 5–20 years of retirement to attend. This will help employees to gauge if they are on the right track for their retirement years.

Key Topics Include:
  • NRECA retirement benefits
  • Investment planning/asset allocation
  • Health and long-term care
  • Retirement distribution strategies
  • Legal affairs and estate planning
  • Estimating retirement income
