WHO SHOULD ATTEND
CFO’s, all accounting staff including accounts payable, engineers. Anyone who utilizes, sets up, or uses standard cost information for estimating work, or compares completed work order information actual to estimated. Positions that close work orders.

This training program is covering the topic of Standard Costs. Teri Wallis will support the needs of the attendees by providing both a fundamental background about standard costs, but also a hands-on experience in updating standard costs and utilizing them in the work of the finance and accounting professionals. This will be a hand-on training program.

ITEMS TO BRING
  • Laptop
  • 2024 Year-end Form 7
  • Direct materials charges by GL # for either:
    • 2024 full year or last 12 months
  • Direct labor changes (Base wages – not overtime or on-call) by GL # for either:
    • 2024 full year or last 12 months
  • Debits to the material spread account (163.00)
    • Should be an Excel spreadsheet with the details for review.
    • 2024 full year or last 12 months
  • Debits to the transportation spread account(s) (184.00’s)
    • Should be an Excel spreadsheet with the details for review.
    • 2024 full year or last 12 months
  • Allocation information about items that have/were spread through a capture work order (if you used one)
  • Total $’s spread to the 107.xx and the 108.xx by category (materials, various overheads, etc.)
  • Total $’s spread to the 580 and 590 accounts, and any others by category (materials, various overheads, etc.)
