JOURNEYMAN LINEWORKER

Oakdale Electric Cooperative, Oakdale, Wisc.—is seeking applications for a Journeyman Line Worker.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and graduate of an accredited technical power distribution program, and Journeyman Line Worker Certification. Strong computer skills desirable. Must possess sound decision-making skills and excellent communication skills. The cooperative may administer skills testing and/or assessments.

The successful candidate is required to live within 16 air miles of the cooperative headquarters and be available for after-hours standby. Must possess and maintain a current class A, unrestricted commercial driver’s license (CDL). This is a union position with the IBEW Local #2150.
