Chippewa Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC), Cornell, seeking to hire a Master Electrician. CVEC is a non-profit, member-owned electric cooperative serving approximately 7,600 consumers in North Central Wisconsin based in Cornell. The Master Electrician will be responsible for providing electrician services for the cooperative and for cooperative members. This position will review distributed generation applications, assist with the automated metering system, troubleshoot and repair load management receivers, install electric vehicle chargers, and provide service to members as needed. To qualify, you must be a Certified Master Electrician. Must be First Aid/CPR certified or willing and able to obtain certification. Must hold and maintain a valid Wisconsin Class D Driver’s License. Also, you must be a good decision maker of the highest integrity; be dependable, self-motivated, and have very good interpersonal / customer relations skills. Other desirable attributes consist of basic computer skills including the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
