Our current President and CEO has announced her retirement effective January 2025. The Board of Directors is partnering with Great River Energy to facilitate the search process.

Itasca-Mantrap Cooperative Electrical Association is an electrical distribution cooperative. The cooperative provides electrical and related services to more than 10,000 members in Hubbard, Becker, Cass, Clearwater, and Wadena Counties. Park Rapids is in the heart of the Minnesota lakes area and is also home to Itasca State Park, the source of the mighty Mississippi River.

The cooperative is searching for a candidate with exceptional leadership qualities, outstanding communication skills, commitment to relationship building to deliver excellent service to employees and members, sound understanding of wholesale and retail energy markets and power generation, solid financial background, and an understanding of and appreciation for the cooperative business model.  

To qualify, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field and at least five years in a management leadership role. Electric utility experience preferred.
