Price Electric Cooperative, Phillips, WI—The Board of Directors for Price Electric Cooperative (PEC) is seeking a collaborative and visionary individual with strong interpersonal communication skills to lead the cooperative into the future as their next President/CEO.  PEC has retained NRECA’s Executive Search to facilitate the search process.

Price Electric Cooperative is a member-owned cooperative serving parts of nine counties in rural north-central Wisconsin.  PEC employs 21 professionals serving approximately 9,364 consumer-members over 1,808 miles of distribution line.  The Cooperative has annual revenue of about $13.3 million and total utility plant of $61.8 million.  Headquartered in Phillips, WI, PEC purchases wholesale power from Dairyland Power Cooperative and is a member of the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association, NRECA, NISC, CRC, RESCO, and Federated Insurance.  PEC is a 100% CFC borrower.

Candidates should have broad electric utility management experience and knowledge including such areas as accounting and finance, engineering and operations, focus on safety, team building, member relations, employee development and internal/external leadership.  Successful candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of electric utility experience and at least 5 years of leadership experience in a utility senior management position.  A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field or 10 years’ experience in a senior-level utility position in lieu of a degree is required.  The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to Cooperative values and principles, be a person of integrity and have a proven ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve and make decisions.
